Christie Calvin
The greatest job I’ve ever had was teaching middle and high school students a little bit of History and English. But it did not take me long to realize that my role in this world was to provide building blocks to teenagers to live a healthy and happy life. I’ve been graciously given the opportunity to leave the general education classroom and move teens in a different way. After all, who doesn’t need some vinyasa?
I’m so grateful for the Baron Baptiste sequence, which has allowed me to realize that the world is bigger than what’s going on in my head. I’ve met beautiful people along the way who have helped me evolve and continue to support me on and off my mat.
When I’m off my mat, I like to snowboard, ride my cruiser around town, share red wine, and laugh…a lot! This really is a beautiful journey, and we’re all in it together.
