Erika Whites-Acquaviva instructs the following:
  • Hour of Power Yoga
  • This is a 60-minute Power Vinyasa class. Be prepared to break a sweat as the studio is set to 90 degrees. The deeper your connection of movement and breath becomes, the more the heat begins to build inside you as opposed to around you; leaving you fully charged and present in each pose. Practicing in a heated environment increases your flexibility as it opens and loosens your muscles. Bring a towel and water bottle in with you, both of which we have available for sale at the studio
*The heat is not for everyone and can be overwhelming at times/upon your first visit. Listen to your body! Exit the class at any time if need be and a desk yogi will be there if you need anything.

Suitable for intermediate yogis; some prior yoga experience recommended. / Balancing classes: Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Deep Stretch Vinyasa

  • Power Detox
  • It’s that time again...Join us for our annual post Holiday Power Detox! You ate all of the things and then had seconds...now come and twist, sweat, and burn your way out of your Turkey coma.

  • Power Vinyasa Yoga
  • Based on the teachings of Baron Baptiste, this 75-minute Power Vinyasa class incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio, and physical and mental stamina all in one! Be prepared to break a sweat as the studio is set between to 90 degrees. The deeper your connection of movement and breath becomes, the more the heat begins to build inside as opposed to around you, leaving you fully charged and present in each pose. Practicing in a heated environment increases your flexibility as it opens and loosens your muscles. Bring a towel and water bottle in with you, both of which we have available for sale at the studio.

  • Dark Side of the Rainbow
  •
Few albums ever achieve the unanimous recognition of Pink Floyd’s notorious The Dark Side of the Moon. Released in 1973, the album tackled massive themes including greed, the passage of time, and personal conflict. Sometime in April of '94, an internet user in a Pink Floyd discussion group mentioned that simultaneously playing “The Wizard of Oz” (sans sound, starting at the MGM lion’s third roar) and The Dark Side of the Moon would yield a slew of seemingly synchronized moments.

Matching a movie to an unrelated album can be described as synchronicity. The practice of yoga also lends similar secretive blends in rhythm and in breath; when you least expect them but when you need them the most. Join Erika for an evening of synchronization between all levels yoga, DSotM, and The Wizard of Oz. “I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon…"

    $20 per yogi

REGISTRATION ENDS Thursday November 31st @ noon!
